The Patient Account Specialist role focuses on supporting patients through billing and insurance inquiries, ensuring a positive and respectful experience while managing patient communications and contributing to operational smoothness.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls in a high-volume call center environment
• Assist patients with billing questions and insurance-reputed company inquiries
• Process payments and establish payment plans
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Accounts Receivable team
• Communicate effectively to resolve billing concerns
• Build rapport through courteous and friendly interactions
• Maintain professional relationships representing the business office, clinic, and physician positively
• Refer reputed company calls or situations to team leads or managers

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with discretion and professionalism
