Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, reputed company, deliver and evaluate educational 4-H Health Rocks!, 4-H Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), and 4-H Livestock programs to youth in out-of-school time settings (may including weekends)
  • Assist with reputed company Tax Aide Volunteer recruitment
  • Assist with creating Master Gardener projects including creation of a resource bank and feedback evaluation project. This will include tabulation and analysis of survey results
  • Incorporate and implement educational enrichment activities, service-learning events, community partnership development, and volunteer recruitment reputed company the programming reputed company of the host site
  • Accurately and professionally discuss with community partners and volunteers the objectives of the AmeriCorps program, positive youth development, and site-specific

Skills

  • Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain a driver's license by the employment start date
  • Have reliable transportation, and willingness to occasionally drive a DUG vehicle
  • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; OEE will not sponsor a reputed company for this position
  • Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national or a lawful permanent reputed company of the U.S
  • Have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old
  • Pass required criminal background checks, including a National Sex Offender Website search. AmeriCorps service is contingent on passing these background checks
  • Be willing and reputed company to complete the required service hours (Minimum time; 300 hours) between May 2026 and August 2026
  • Experience working with youth, enjoyment of working with youth, and understanding of developmental milestones and characteristics
  • Experience with office management tools such as reputed company Office suite of products, reputed company suite of products, and other technology to effectively plan, prepare, deliver, and/or evaluate educational programming
  • Demonstrated experience in professional community engagement, including delivering presentations, facilitating discussions, or collaborating with community partners and volunteers to reputed company program objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision based on submitted application materials
  • Hands-on experience in the areas of education, youth development, STEM or other reputed company field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A living allowance of approximately $510.00 for full time per pay period on a bi-weekly cycle for an approximate total of $4080.00 for the term of service.
