The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess exceptional research and writing skills, responsible for analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and providing recommendations for clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and claim material, draft coverage opinions, and reputed company recommendations for clients
- Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
- Analyze documents for litigation
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw
- Prepare and respond to written discovery
- Draft pleadings and briefs
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend and reputed company at hearings and mediations
Skills
- Admitted to practice law
- California bar admission strongly preferred
- Insurance coverage experience
- Excellent academic credentials and/or solid work history
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Ability to handle reputed company of a highly sensitive nature
- Ability to handle time sensitive reputed company
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
