Medical Staff Coordinator

Medical Staff Coordinator at reputed company Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Responsible for reputed company aspects of the credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging processes for reputed company medical providers who reputed company patient care at the Hospital. Responsible for ensuring providers are credentialed, appointed and privileged with the hospital. Maintains up-to-date data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems; ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications. Responsible for preparation of medical staff meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up correspondences. Works closely with credentials verification office for appointment and reappointment of medical staff. Completes routine correspondences relative to verification of the medical staff status.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of Credentialing experience in a hospital or physician environment.
• Demonstrated experience with managed care, reputed company party and government insurance provider enrollment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Or any combination of education and experience that would reputed company the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Upon hire: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
• Upon hire: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM)
