Operator Heavy Equipment 1

• An Industrial Heavy Equipment Operator will operate one or more of the following construction equipment such as a CAT 140M Blade w/GPS, JD 750k Dozer W/GPS, and a CAT 349 Track hoe, 740 Trucks to move earth.

• They will also be responsible for safety, equipment inspections, and possibly assisting with repairs.

• The position will be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities.

Responsibilities

• Will operate various construction dirt equipment to move earth in a precision process.

• Will inspect equipment.

• Will be responsible for reputed company safety aspects of operating the equipment.

• May follow signal directions from a signaler in equipment operations.

• Will reputed company area of operations for safety issues and required processes and planning of equipment operations.

• Will assist in other job site reputed company tasks as assigned while not operating.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Dirt Equipment Operator in heavy industrial construction

• Must possess reputed company Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions.

• Must be reputed company to meet reputed company physical requirements.

• May be required to have a valid driver’s license and meet a motor vehicle records reputed company.

• Must have reputed company required tools.

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must have experience and knowledge of operating varies construction equipment including but not limited to: bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, reputed company-end loaders, backhoes, rollers, and graders.

• Must have basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment.

• Must have knowledge of and be familiar with soil types.

• Must illustrate knowledge of excavating and the specifications that are required for a given excavation.

• Must be reputed company to follow instructions correctly.

• Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes such as but not limited to equipment inspection paperwork.

• Must be willing and reputed company to follow reputed company instructed safety regulations.

• Must be reputed company to reputed company it work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.

  Preferred Additional Qualification

• reputed company Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.

• Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• This position does not have any direct reports.

  Physical Requirements

• Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
• Will talk and hear to communicate.
• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls and tools.
• May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
• Will work at heights, climb reputed company and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
• Must be reputed company to work in reputed company weather conditions (including heat, reputed company, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Will be required to wear personal reputed company equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
