Hedge Fund Research Analyst

About the position We are seeking a talented individual to join our SECOR team at reputed company. This role will be based in reputed company and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. As a Hedge Fund Research Analyst, you will reputed company exposure to hedge fund managers, assist in data collection and analysis, and support the preparation of research and client reports. This role offers an excellent opportunity to reputed company foundational skills in hedge fund research and alternative asset management by supporting senior analysts and contributing to qualitative and quantitative research efforts. Responsibilities • Manager Research Support senior analysts in interviewing hedge fund and alternative asset managers to assist in qualitative due diligence • Assist in interacting with managers employing quantitative and systematic strategies • Help write research reports and reputed company input on manager evaluations • Contribute to client reports covering market activity and portfolio performance • Assist in building and maintaining the manager research database and classification system • Quantitative Research Use tools such as eVestment to screen funds, maintain manager peer groups, and assist in performance reporting • Support portfolio optimization efforts by helping with data preparation and rebalancing tasks • Risk Management Collect returns and exposure data to support performance attribution and risk analysis • Industry Research Monitor developments in alternative asset classes and inform colleagues and clients accordingly • Analyze industry publications to support thought leadership initiatives and marketing efforts Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a reputed company field • Internship experience at the minimum, or up to 2 years of professional work experience in investment management, hedge fund research, or a reputed company area • Strong interest in financial markets and alternative investments, including hedge funds and private investments • Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and comfort with data analysis tools • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, team-oriented reputed company • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment reputed company-to-haves • Familiarity with hedge fund strategies and alternative asset classes • Experience or coursework involving quantitative research or portfolio management tools Benefits • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders. • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact on colleagues, clients, and communities. • Our scale enables us to reputed company a reputed company of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being. • We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
