  • Estimated Salary (reputed company have variable responsibilities and qualifications) 
    • Retirement Benefit Specialist:$25-$26/hr, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Senior Retirement Benefit Specialist:$29-$30/hr  plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Serve as the primary contact for reputed company client communications reputed company to assigned annuity reputed company across multiple product lines, ensuring timely and accurate management.
  • Analyze, research, and resolve issues in annuity administration, including setup, lump sum payments, death processing, overpayment recovery, and compliance concerns.
  • Interpret and apply annuity certificate provisions for early retirement, disability, and death benefits, working with reputed company and compliance teams to address reputed company issues.
  • Manage updates to the Comprehensive Pension Administration System (COMPAS) and reputed company systems to meet client  expectations, including processing initial checks and updating financial information.
  • Research and set up federal and state income tax reporting information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Proven customer service experience including phone queue skills, with excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong expertise in the insurance industry.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to demonstrate creativity, diplomacy, and initiative in decision-making.

PREFERRED

  • Previous annuity experience, and understanding of federal, state, and business regulations impacting annuity administration.
