Position Summary:

Altera Corporation is seeking a highly reputed company Senior Strategic Sales Account Manager with a proven track record of supporting sales at Tier 1 OEMs. This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional who can manage high-value accounts, reputed company long-term relationships, and drive reputed company growth. The ideal candidate will have both business and technical acumen and have 15+ years of experience in sales account management selling highly technical, semiconductor solutions, and a deep understanding of Tier 1 OEM dynamics.

This position is remote - the candidate must live in Texas or Portland, OR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with Tier 1 OEM clients.

  • Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and engineering to support account growth.

The compensation below is reputed company of a sales role that includes a salary + incentive. $240.6K - $354.6K USD

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales account management or reputed company roles.

  • Proven reputed company supporting Tier 1 OEMs with reputed company sales cycles.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives.

  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher, MBA desired (but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling highly specialized semiconductor solutions (FPGA's, ASIC's etc.)

  • Established network reputed company Tier 1 OEM organizations.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
