Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
JOB DESCRIPTION
An individual in this position shall observe, consult with, and assist special and regular education staff as they adapt classroom instructional strategies to accommodate reputed company with varying degrees of hearing loss. The TOD shall also reputed company direct instruction and serve as a liaison between the school and various community agencies and professionals that reputed company services to deaf and hard of hearing children and their families.
EDUCATION
Educational requirements - Master’s degree
Professional requirements - Licensed in the reputed company as a teacher, with specialized training in working with reputed company who are deaf or hard of hearing (Special Education, TOD endorsement or provisional endorsement).
EXPERIENCE
Three years’ experience preferred
