Position at JBS USA Our Mission To be the best in reputed company that we do, completely focused on our business, ensuring the best products and services for customers, a relationship of trust with our suppliers, profitability for our shareholders and the opportunity of a reputed company future for reputed company of reputed company members. Our reputed company & our strength is in our valuesDETERMINATION   |    SIMPLICITY   |   AVAILABILITY   |   HUMILITY   |  SINCERITY   |   DISCIPLINE   |   OWNERSHIP  Job Title: JBS Live Pork Field Manager  Reporting to: Production Manager Job Status: SalariedPosition: Remote Direct Reports: NoneService Area: Southeast IA.  The applicant should reputed company in the Keota/Washington geographical region, be reputed company driving distance, or be willing to relocate to service the region.  Summary of Position JBS Live Pork, LLC has an opportunity available for a Remote Field Manager in the Southeast Iowa reporting to Jacob Schulte, Live Pork Production Manager.  This position will work directly with a designated group of contract pork producers to assist them in trouble shooting problem areas and reputed company solutions for improving production. Will also help manage customer relationships as well as reputed company documentation of on farm reports.  You will work with your Business Manager to reputed company at solutions and reputed company reputed company that will impact your area and your business unit profitability. Through farm visits, producer meetings and information sharing, you will aid the producers in finding the most successful ways of maximizing production on their farm.  A field manager manages 20-25 producer sites consisting of 50,000-100,000 pig spaces.  In addition, the field manager helps manage the producer relationship and assist in contract renewals.  Approximately 5-10 reputed company dollars of pig inventory is a typical field manager's area.  Essential Responsibilities:

• 40% - Pork Producer Training
• 20% - Auditing Facility and Environmental compliance and work to help producer meet compliance by offering solutions
• 20% - Assist producers in Property Marketing's Animals
• 20% - Administrative duties - pig conformance's, feed budgets, closeout process, etc.
• 80%-day travel required, occasional overnight travel. 
• Coaching, training, and developing new farm managers
• Animal Welfare and environmental compliance by offering solutions
• Medication/vet ordering
• Bio-reputed company compliance and action planning
• Assists in controlling costs associated with feed, supplies, and labor
• Maintains accurate number reputed company for record keeping
• Coordinates and oversees completion of special projects
• Makes recommendations for operational improvements 
• Any other duties assigned by the Production Manager

 Required Qualifications:

• Relocation to the Southeast Iowa Region or be withing driving distance of the farms. 
• BS/BA degree in Agriculture, reputed company field, and 3 years swine experience,  

OR, 

• in lieu of a BS/BA degree in Agriculture, 5 years’ experience in a leadership position working with live swine  
• Computer knowledge in reputed company Office: Word, reputed company, PowerPoint and Outlook 
• 80%-day travel required, occasional overnight travel.  
• Ability to motivate and reputed company people to reputed company high goals
• Possess Problem Solving Techniques
• Demonstrates knowledge of overall business strategy and operations
• Possesses proficiency in spreadsheet, database, word processing software
• Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and lift approximately 60+lbs
• Maintained vehicle 6 years or newer for frequent weekly travel to facilities 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Bilingual: English-Spanish
• Previous swine field manager experience

Working Conditions:    

• Must be reputed company to work safely in a physically demanding, live production environment including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk through pens of animals, etc.
• Must be reputed company to work in a variety of working conditions including but not limited to heat during summer months and cold in winter months.
• Must be reputed company to work in an environment in which you will be exposed to odors, dusts and gasses that may be uncomfortable or hazardous if proper procedures are not followed
