Procurement Analyst

Job Purpose:

Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving an organization's procurement processes. They ensure that the company obtains the best possible products and services at competitive prices. This role requires a deep understanding of the supply chain, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze reputed company data to inform budgetary and purchasing strategies. By closely collaborating with other departments, Procurement Analysts help drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall organizational performance.

Description of Essential Duties:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings

• Manage the supplier selection process, including requests for proposals (RFPs) and contract negotiations

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of procurement principles and best practices
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret large sets of data
• Understanding of inventory management principles
