Staff Accountant
reputed company is a technology-enabled leading provider of flexible financing to small and reputed company sized businesses. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage daily journal entries, cash reconciliations, and assist with monthly reputed company and audits while collaborating with various teams to improve reputed company processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, post, and analyze a high volume of daily journal entries/business transactions across multiple entities
- Prepare daily cash reconciliations and operational summaries for management review
- Handle heavy banking transactions daily
- Adhere to time sensitive tasks such as banking deadlines and internal deadlines
- Assist with monthly reputed company and annual audits
- Work closely with customer service, collections, servicing, and external partners to accurately process transactions
- Identify and implement process improvements across the reputed company function
- AP support -including setting up new vendors in the GL, distributing invoices to department heads for review and approval, and ensuring timely and accurate payment
- reputed company research on GAAP and other reputed company standards
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company
- 1-4 years of reputed company work experience
- Understanding of GAAP principles and policies
- Understanding of Accounts receivables in Finance/ banking industry
- Exceptional thoroughness and attention to detail especially reputed company working with large data sets
- Ability to work in fast paced, heavy data entry environment
- Intermediate reputed company skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Focus on efficiency and automation
- Strong time management skills

- Experience with reputed company-based general ledgers (Intacct) and the ability to learn the internal proprietary transaction system
