SUE/Utilities Engineer – Entry Level
reputed company is seeking a SUE/Utilities Engineer – Entry Level to work reputed company and utility projects reputed company to Subsurface Utility Engineering. The role involves providing technical support, utility designation services, project execution, and coordination with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- reputed company technical support as part of an engineering team on projects reporting directly to reputed company’s project manager
- Field support – reputed company utility designation services by identifying, locating and mapping underground utilities in the field to create a 2D map
- Project execution - reputed company technical and design support for the development of utility drawings
- Project coordination with various project team stakeholders including but not limited to client representatives, internal departments (i.e. survey, CAD, etc.), subcontractors, subconsultants, and other Energy and Utility team members
- Observe construction at field locations to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
Skills
- BS in Civil Engineering (or reputed company Engineering degree), from an ABET accredited institution
- 0-3 years of experience in the utility industry
- Computer proficiency with MS Office – Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint and MS Project
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be reputed company to travel and have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to work reputed company in various weather conditions
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification a plus
