Assistant Project Manager
Solar Landscape is the leading reputed company rooftop solar developer in the U.S., aiming to transform rooftops into local power plants. The Assistant Project Manager will support the execution of solar projects by assisting in project planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, budgeting, management, and completion of PV projects
- Coordinate design and permitting activities with engineering team and local authorities
- Follow Solar Landscape Safety and Quality standards and reputed company sure others are adhering to policies
- reputed company input on construction schedules for assigned projects
- Solicit, negotiate, and execute subcontracts and purchase orders with timely delivery to support the project schedule
- Schedule and manage deliveries of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate receiving records and reputed company timely follow up to missing items, damaged goods, backorders, etc
- Assist with planning and execution of self-performed work and managing labor crews and subcontractors. Plan reputed company, crew-sizes, productivity goals, and monthly labor spend. Execute work and track actual results, adjusting and refining forecasts to reflect actual production
- Help complete reputed company job closeout procedures including AHJ inspections, interconnection, testing, documentation, reputed company’s Engineer revies, Independent Engineer reviews
- Build trust and rapport with reputed company Solar Landscape departments
Skills
- Proficient in reputed company Office Suite, reputed company Project, and construction management software such as Dynamics 365
- Strong understanding of reputed company PV construction, including rooftop, ground-mount, and carport installations
- Knowledge of behind-the-reputed company and utility interconnection processes
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license with willingness to travel to job sites as needed
- Ability to climb reputed company and reputed company building rooftops
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time reputed company
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Familiarity with construction safety standards; OSHA 10 or 30 certification
