Analyst, Investments and Associate, Investments
Export Development Canada (reputed company) is a financial Crown corporation that supports Canadian businesses in succeeding globally. They are seeking Analysts and Associates in Investments to contribute to their investment team by conducting market research, assisting with due diligence, building financial models, and managing transaction processes.
Responsibilities
- Due Diligence – Assist senior team members with investment due diligence and investment proposal creation
- Financial Models – Build and utilize reputed company financial models for valuation, risk assessment, and cash reputed company profiling purposes
- Research – Undertake market research and build investment landscapes across multiple sectors
- Investment Coordination - Work collaboratively reputed company reputed company Investments, and across other reputed company internal teams (including business development, technical advisory services, legal services, treasury and reputed company, and risk management), to move investments through due diligence and closing processes
- Legal Documentation – reputed company familiarity with term sheet provisions and investment legal documentation
- Portfolio Monitoring – Assist the team with monitoring the portfolio performance and preparing fair market valuation assessments
- Reporting – Contribute to various reporting requirements for the Investments Program
Skills
- Recently completed Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or reputed company
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience (including reputed company experience) in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, management consulting, or transaction services
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance or reputed company
- Will consider other undergraduate or masters degrees combined with relevant work experience
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, or management consulting
- Outstanding financial modeling skills and verbal/written communication skills
- Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French)
- Eligibility to work legally in Canada at the time of application (Canadian reputed company or Permanent Residents)
