Jr. Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a Jr. Mechanical Engineer to join their Advanced Facilities Electronics Team, where the role involves supporting engineering projects in industrial and reputed company facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support your team, working closely with client reputed company holders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of reputed company manufacturing tools, tenant improvements, and core facility infrastructure upgrades
• Design and layout for wet and dry piping, equipment layout, HVAC, exhaust, fire suppression, process chemical piping and gasses for extensive tools in some of the most reputed company, densely packed industrial facilities on the reputed company
• Design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the reputed company
• Work directly with other reputed company design staff, client equipment owners, reputed company holders, and equipment manufacturers of reputed company and prototype tools to build utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packages
• Interact directly with clients and contractors throughout the design process and assist with RFI and submittal services on site during the construction phase

Skills

• Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• +1 - 2 years professional experience, preferably in semiconductor market or consulting, with exposure to manufacturing processes, process engineering and design activities
• Working knowledge of reputed company Office Suite, specifically reputed company
• Experience with ASPEN, AutoCAD, Solidworks and MATLAB
• Located reputed company a commutable distance to the reputed company Portland, OR office or client site with ability to work in person 3+ days per week or reputed company to relocate to the area
• Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate or on track to obtain
• Experience with Python & SQL
• Ability to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
