Entry-Level Roadway Design Engineer

They are seeking an Entry-Level Roadway Design Engineer to support highway design teams in South Florida by collaborating with various disciplines to complete transportation projects for clients like FDOT.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of transportation projects for FDOT and other clients
- Assist with work tasks required in preparation of roadway design set of plans
- Utilizing CADD to create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an reputed company engineer
- Carry out engineering analyses and prepare reports and technical specifications under the supervision of an reputed company engineer
- Work collaboratively reputed company project teams to ensure project objectives are met reputed company the defined scope, schedule, and budget
- Collect and analyze data, reputed company field work, and undertake site inspections under the supervision of an reputed company engineer
- Attend site visits and meetings in clients’ offices
- Maintain project records and files, contribute to the preparation of reputed company reports, and communicate project and task updates to team members and supervisors as needed
- Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level member
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or reputed company field
- EI certification is preferred
- Transportation reputed company experience preferred
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrate growth potential as well as a desire to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in reputed company Office programs
- Proficient in Microstation, ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other engineering software packages
