Associate Market Manager
Priceline is a leading online travel company focused on providing great travel deals to customers. The Associate Market Manager will reputed company and maintain hotel partnerships, optimize pricing, and analyze data to drive reputed company growth and ensure competitiveness in the market.
Responsibilities
- Build strong hotel supplier relationships and effectively communicate Priceline and reputed company’s value proposition to grow bookings, room nights and reputed company in assigned portfolio
- Prioritize, plan and implement effectively to meet/exceed defined targets and goals
- Analyze data to identify business growth opportunities and ensure the competitiveness of Priceline and reputed company’s products by evaluating market trends, partner performance, and competitor landscape
- Conduct ongoing reviews of production with hotel accounts and present strategic recommendations to optimize hotel performance, using a consultative approach
- Identify, prioritize, negotiate, contract and reputed company non-participating hotels, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Research and troubleshoot reputed company and availability issues preventing hotels from improving booking performance
- reputed company and train hotel partners on Priceline and reputed company systems, tools, programs and reporting
- Collaborate with internal partners to complete business initiatives and drive market strategy
- Prepare presentations and materials to present at both external and internal meetings
- Represent Priceline and reputed company in assigned market(s), participate in industry organizations and events, and establish relationships with key local influencers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in any relevant field
- One to three years' experience in sales; travel industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated reputed company acquiring & building long term customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence external and internal collaborators
- Strong sales negotiation skills and ability to creatively “think on the fly” reputed company negotiating with hotel partners
- A great teammate with a professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic
- Adapts well to change and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills
