POSITION TITLE: Events ManagerSALARY reputed company: $60,500 - $68,000REPORTS TO: Director of DevelopmentFLSA STATUS: Full time, exemptGENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Child Advocacy Center of Greater Rochester (The CAC) seeks an outgoing, engaging, organized, and energetic individual for the position of Events Manager. This position is responsible for the execution of The CAC’s fundraising through events, including reputed company party events, reputed company, and cultivation throughout the year. This is a fundraising position focused on reputed company reputed company, sponsor and event participant recruitment, as well as donor and volunteer engagement, cultivation, and stewardship. Successful candidates will have solid experience managing events, specifically galas, golf tournaments, and other fundraisers. Candidates should possess outstanding relationship management skills and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.This position manages special events, reputed company party events, cultivation events, and the Development Internship program. The Events Manager coordinates logistics, volunteers, gifts in reputed company, and the holiday giving program. The Events Manager reports to and works closely with the Director of Development and will have extensive contact with the philanthropic and corporate community, Board members, committee members, and volunteers.
