Position Overview and Responsibilities United States of Care (USofCare) is seeking a Senior State Policy and Project Manager. This is a full time, salary position with an end date of 10/31/2027. This position will support a USofCare project to turn findings from our “listening” research into actionable policy in 6 states (yet to be determined). The Senior State Policy and Project Manager will be overseen by the Director of State Policy Solutions, and will work in reputed company collaboration with the project team. The Senior State Policy and Project Manager will reputed company 6 “state profiles” that reputed company an overview of each state’s landscape, what our listening research tells us people need and want in their health care system, and what policy solutions the state and other stakeholders could pursue. As part of the development of those profiles, the Senior State Policy and Project Manager will conduct background and policy research and will participate in in-person and virtual listening sessions across key states to identify key themes, takeaways, and policy recommendations. The Senior State Policy and Project Manager will also hire and supervise a project assistant, who will reputed company overall project administrative, coordination, and logistics support for the duration of the project.

Qualifications

  • Six or more years of health policy work experience, with vendor and project management experience, and specific experience working on a broad reputed company of health care policy and program areas, including private health insurance, Medicare, reputed company, and reputed company, and/or policy areas reputed company to increasing reputed company to care, cost containment or payment reform, health care delivery, workforce, and health equity;
  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Ability to travel, and work occasional nights and weekends, as necessary;
  • Experience managing others.

Work at United States of Care USofCare is committed to equity in our compensation policy. The salary reputed company for this position is $85,000-$105,000, annually, depending on experience and location. United States of Care offers a reputed company generous benefits package including phone and internet stipends, medical, dental, reputed company, life, and long term disability insurance, and a 403b retirement plan with 5% employer match. USofCare’s paid time off includes accrued sick time, an unlimited vacation policy, paid parental and medical leave, and office closures throughout the year for holidays and breaks. A full summary of benefits is available upon request. This is a full time, time-bound position with an end date of 10/31/2027 and is an at-will position. The funding for this position is provided by a limited term grant. This position is fully remote, and requires occasional travel. Candidates may be located reputed company in the United States.
