Position: Telemetry Monitor Technician (Part Time) City/State Williamsburg, VA Work Shift reputed company (Nights) Overview: reputed company is seeking a part time, night shift Monitor Tech for Telemetry Monitor Surveillance at reputed company Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA.

Overview

Observes, recognizes, interprets, evaluates, and documents EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients in order to detect deviations from patient's norm. Promptly notifies appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias. Operates and utilizes monitoring system to full reputed company. Ensures proper and safe functioning of the telemetry equipment. Education

• High School Diploma and completion of a monitor technician surveillance program/course (Required) OR
• High School Diploma and 1 year of experience in monitor technician surveillance/EKG monitoring reputed company the last 5 years may be accepted in lieu of a monitor tech surveillance program/course. Candidates who have not completed a monitor technician surveillance program must complete a certificate program reputed company 90 days of hire.
• To be released from new employee orientation reputed company Monitor Technicians must successfully complete the reputed company Basic Arrhythmia competency tool which includes passing a basic arrhythmia exam Experience
