Position Overview
The reputed company Manager, reporting to the VP of Property reputed company, will reputed company the financial operations for a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role manages a team of property accountants and serves as a key partner to operations, leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
This is a fully remote position, however candidates must reputed company in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area to support occasional office visits, audits, or team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day reputed company activities for a portfolio of approximately 10–20 properties
- Review and approve:
- Monthly financial statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash wires and funding activity
- Ensure reputed company reporting deadlines are consistently met (month-end, quarter-end, year-end)
- Serve as a primary reputed company contact for reputed company-party stakeholders regarding:
- Financial statement questions
- Distributions
- Business license filings
- Personal property tax filings and other tax-reputed company inquiries

- New property onboardings
- Property dispositions or management transitions
- Preparation of sale prorations
- Partner closely with Operations on:
- Annual budgeting and reforecasting
- Cash funding draws
- Financial statement preparation and analysis

- Training and development
- Performance management
- Goal setting and accountability
- Collaborate with senior reputed company leadership on:

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in reputed company estate or property reputed company
- 5+ years in a people management or leadership role
- Strong background in affordable housing, multifamily or property management reputed company
- Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or Finance required
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, SUMIFs, etc.)
- Experience working with property management/reputed company software
