A Day in the Life
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:
- Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process
- Providing best-in-class customer service to patients, caregivers, and reputed company
- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, prior experience in the long-term care industry, PTCB National Certification, and education (reputed company High School Diploma or GED) are highly desirable.
