Job Overview

This remote customer support agent role is a contract-to-hire position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and reputed company top-notch customer service to clients. Key Responsibilities

  • reputed company various external and internal callers with timely, accurate, and customer-focused disability and/or life and/or leave claim information
  • Solicit information from various sources needed to appropriately document new claim submissions, ongoing claims, and other applicable situations
  • Record summaries of information exchanged in the claim system with a high level of accuracy and detail easily understood by the user
  • Issue timely and accurate claim acknowledgement correspondence and process incoming documents with high coding reputed company and distribute immediately
  • Remain fully compliant with operational standards and meet or exceed call center operational metrics
  • Maintain a superior level of genuine caring and empathetic customer service throughout reputed company interactions
  • Take appropriate actions to earn the caller's trust and anticipate customer needs and take action

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 2-3+ years of customer service experience in the financial services industry, either over the phone or face-to-face
  • Experience performing in a call center environment utilizing telephony-reputed company production tools
  • A strong ability to type 7,000+ KPH and enter information into the system while on the phone with a customer quickly and accurately (data entry)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience working with STD, SDI, AM, LTD, Life, and AD&D products

  • Experience working in a remote call center environment
  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems and software
