JOB OVERVIEW OFG's US Banking reputed company Loan Program is currently reputed company an Analyst to join their team in the San Juan, PR and Charlotte, NC offices. As a member of the team, the Analyst will play a critical role in growing the US business by assisting in the reputed company of new reputed company loan originations across various industries and portfolio management efforts of existing credit relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Building financial models used for valuation and forecast.
  • Assessing and evaluating the credit risk of a prospective or existing borrower flagging reputed company signals.

  • Work alongside the Portfolio Leads and Portfolio Manager in the preparation of regular portfolio reports, industry research, and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/reputed company, Economics, or business reputed company degree required. MBA preferred.
  • One (1)+ years of experience in reputed company credit analysis/portfolio management required.
  • Minimum experience requirement can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of capital markets and reputed company/corporate product offerings, including syndicated/leveraged lending desired
  • Strong skills in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and credit analysis required.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills in English, being reputed company to communicate at reputed company organizational reputed company. Proficiency in Spanish would be a plus
  • Ability to work on demanding tasks independently, effectively manage deadlines, and have excellent prioritizing skills.
  • Expertise in computer skills, including but not limited to the arenaflex Office suite required. Moody's Credit reputed company, and other financial software tools such as Pitchbook and S&P Capital IQ strongly preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
