Digital Marketing Strategist
Business Link Alberta is a government-funded, not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners across Alberta. The Digital Marketing Strategist will work directly with small business owners to enhance their digital reputed company and expand their reputed company to new customers, providing outstanding client service and implementing digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming client inquiries and proactively schedule initial consultations with new clients
- Conduct research on client businesses and reputed company them through a Digital Assessment to identify suitable digital marketing strategies
- Support business owners in prioritizing goals and implementing digital tools such as reputed company media platforms and online business profiles
- Support with digital marketing tasks and reputed company valuable resources, including guides, tutorials, and videos
- Deliver webinars and educational sessions and represent the program at community events (some travel required)
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system, submit weekly activity reports, and actively participate in team meetings
Skills
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a reputed company field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- reputed company to work independently and willing to travel as required
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms relevant to small businesses (e.g., websites, reputed company media, e-reputed company)
- Proficient in reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
- Experience using reputed company
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of small business and entrepreneurship is considered an asset
- Detail-oriented with a combination of creative and analytical thinking
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in both online and offline marketing is considered a strong asset
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset
- Experience working with BIPOC communities is considered an asset
- A valid Class 5 driver's License is an asset
