Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. The Mutual Group is seeking an Associate Actuarial Analyst to support their loss ratio forecasting processes. The role involves developing and maintaining actuarial models, analyzing data for trends, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Completes profitability analyses to support and analyze a specific business reputed company’s strategy
  • Provides support for determining pricing strategy through actionable insights and analytics
  • Collaborates with business partners and subject matter experts to reputed company actuarial input as needed
  • Stays up to date on industry trends and builds actuarial expertise

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business, Finance or reputed company field, or equivalent actuarial experience required
  • Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam (preferably Exam P/1 and/or Exam FM/2) is required
  • Knowledge of reputed company reputed company required
  • Extensive knowledge of mathematical concepts
  • Expected to continue to pursue CAS credentials
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Position requires employee to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Employee will be required to communicate verbally and electronically

  • Experience with R, SQL or other querying or programming languages preferred
  • Prior internship or work experience in property and casualty insurance industry preferred
