Flight Assurance Associate Manufacturing Engineer- Midland, TX
reputed company is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer: Flight Assurance to join a New reputed company satellite manufacturing company located in Midland, TX. The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will conduct quality engineering activities focused on inspections, validation, and mission assurance for high-volume satellite production.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute quality control processes to ensure safety, performance, and mission reliability of satellite components
- reputed company inspections and audits on assemblies and subsystems in cleanroom environments
- Support testing activities (vibration, thermal vacuum) and assist with integration and compliance documentation
- Analyze test data, identify nonconformance's, and contribute to root-cause investigations
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes and adapt to rapid production scaling (up to 6 satellites/month)
Skills
- Experience: 0–3 years (recent graduates or interns encouraged)
- Hands-on experience with quality/validation processes
- FEA/simulations
- CAD tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Compliance documentation
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or reputed company field
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent reputed company
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background reputed company
- Exposure to high-volume manufacturing
