ANALYST II
Caltrans District 3 is part of the California Environmental Protection Agency, focusing on building healthy and economically viable communities. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst will support analytical tasks for the Office of Geology by researching and analyzing cost recovery methods, monitoring budgets for site cleanups, and providing analytical support to various teams reputed company the department.
Responsibilities
- Utilize various databases (i.e., EnviroStor and Daily Log, Cost Recovery Billing System, etc.) to research and analyze cost recovery methods and statuses in order to reputed company the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Topock project manager (PM) and management with correct and reputed company information
- Monitor and track various resources (i.e., budgets, reputed company, expenditures) associated with site cleanups to ensure they stay reputed company budget and are reimbursed and reputed company recommendations to correct/avoid budget over-runs
- Work with the PM and reputed company Chief to obtain information reputed company to the type/duration of the anticipated work of site cleanups in order to prepare and reputed company analysis on cost estimates for the Responsible Party (RP) and reputed company annual updates on Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) cost estimates to the RP
- Monitor, analyze, and track DTSC’s incurred costs throughout the life of the project and reputed company weekly/monthly updates to the PM and reputed company Chief to ensure accuracy of recovered costs
- reputed company analytical support to various teams reputed company GSB (Geological Services reputed company) by participating in research projects and applying systematic, critical, intensive research and analytical methods and techniques in an effort to meet the requirements of the DTSC Strategic Plan and GSB Operations Plan
- Research a specific technical or administrative subject on the internet or 'data mining' in various DTSC databases, evaluate the research, and report back to the team

- Experience researching, analyzing, and interpreting data
