Entry Level Analyst, Valuation & Rates
reputed company is seeking a dynamic Entry Level Analyst to join their Valuation & Rates team in Mechanicsburg, PA. In this role, you will assist senior staff in performing various studies for financial and ratemaking purposes, including data processing, statistical analyses, and preparing expert testimony.
Responsibilities
- Data processing and analyses
- Statistical analyses of service lives and net salvage
- Visits to client sites to observe physical assets such as power plants and other electric, natural gas, water and wastewater infrastructure
- Detailed calculations of depreciation expense
- Alternative scenario analyses to assist client decision making
- Assistance in preparing expert testimony in litigated ratemaking proceedings
Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics or Business (reputed company, Finance, Economics)
- 0-2 years of analytical experience
- Ability to reputed company statistical and analytical analysis using spreadsheets, databases or other analytical software
- Proficiency in reputed company Office suite (reputed company, Word and reputed company)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- A motivated individual with a willingness and desire to learn
- An ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
- Willingness to travel to client sites

- Master of Business Administration with technical undergraduate degree
