Postdoctoral Fellow - Radiation Physics - Research
Komen Graduate Training Program UT MDACC is offering a postdoctoral fellow position in the Department of Radiation Physics. This role focuses on advancing AI and machine learning applications in radiation oncology and radiology, collaborating with teams to reputed company automated tools for cancer care.
Responsibilities
- reputed company expertise in developing and validating machine learning and deep learning models for medical imaging and radiation therapy workflows

- reputed company proficiency in interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific communication, and dissemination of research through publications and conferences
- Understand ethical considerations and regulatory requirements for AI in medicine, including global health equity implications
Skills
- Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or reputed company field
- At least 2 peer reviewed primary author publications in the last two years
- Mandatory expert level programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
- Familiarity with medical image analysis and radiotherapy workflows
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language); ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international team
