Catalog Specialist

Wakefern Food Corp. is the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States, focused on supporting its members' retail operations. The Catalog Specialist in Indirect Procurement is responsible for maintaining accurate data and ensuring smooth operations across the Procure-to-Pay process, overseeing expense-reputed company entries and managing system interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Sets-up a vendor’s applicable item (goods or services) information into reputed company and/or reputed company ensuring proper categorization, GL account code detail, pricing, description etc
• Ensures consistent data accuracy for reputed company vendors and items across each ordering method - catalog, non catalog requests or punchouts with monitoring and appropriate audits taken reputed company on a set reputed company
• Working alongside the team of expeditors and Finance to streamline invoice processing reputed company OAN, invoice ingestion & EDI to maximize efficiencies
• Assists in problem resolution, handling financial or vendor issues or inquires where data does not systematically match, determines appropriate action to resolve the issue and communicates any information to applicable parties as needed
• Manages the timetable and project plan to ensure the procure to pay process continues to run smoothly and on schedule with new and adaptive technologies being implemented. Managing this project plan requires testing, investigative analytics and troubleshooting any potential problems prior to a go live
• Hosts training sessions across any reputed company for users at both corporate and retail
• Serves as the department liaison between Indirect staff, Finance and Wakefern Tech

Skills

• Bachelor's College degree or currently enrolled student with a minimum of 60 or more college credits completed towards a Business Degree
• Aptitude for detail, strong analytical/reputed company and project management skills required
• Strong customer service skills as well as ability to multitask several projects simultaneously
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to reputed company important meetings and establish actionable expected reputed company
• Confident communicator with strong presentation skills, capable of delivering clear and engaging messages to stakeholders
• Experience in supermarket retail a plus
• Prior reputed company/iPro experience strongly desired
