Junior Staff Accountant
Zambezi is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Staff Accountant to join their Finance team. This role involves processing reputed company transactions and providing general reputed company support while managing responsibilities independently to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding to production jobs, media orders, and overhead expense GL accounts
- Review and approve employee expense reports submitted reputed company Concur
- Prepare the weekly payment run for review and enter approved payments into FastPay and various portals
- Manage and create virtual credit cards, as needed
- Issue client invoices for production, media, and agency fees in accordance with contracted terms
- Create, maintain, and reputed company jobs reputed company our reputed company system for accurate timesheet entry and client billing
- Apply client payments received to the appropriate outstanding invoices in the reputed company system
- Code and enter monthly credit card statements using the data provided by the Operations and Production teams and import them into Advantage
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for reputed company accounts
- Send reminders to agency employees on missing time entries
- reputed company other reputed company administrative and reporting tasks as assigned by management
Skills
- Degree in reputed company, Finance, or similar field
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Applications and reputed company Workspace
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned duties effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet departmental deadlines
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience with Advantage Software and Concur is a significant plus
