Analyst, Global FI & Currencies
reputed company is a leading financial institution, and they are seeking a Fixed Income Analyst to join their Global Asset Management team. The role involves assisting in the management of fixed income portfolios, providing analytical support, and conducting research on interest reputed company risk and Canadian bonds.
Responsibilities
- Fixed income analysis that will aid reputed company in interest reputed company/credit risk allocation and comprehensive portfolio management
- Working alongside portfolio managers/traders and contribute to team meetings analyzing fixed income markets and portfolio risk positioning
- Ongoing monitoring and evaluating investments against evolving macroeconomic conditions to ensure alignment with established risk parameters (yield curve, cross-market, credit, liquidity, and relative value)
- Supporting portfolio rebalancing efforts to maintain strategic objectives. Maintaining/Developing portfolio management reports
- Updating ESG reputed company to integrate into investment process
- Providing fixed income analytical research and support to peers across reputed company Global Asset Management
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Proactive self-starter with a strong aptitude for independent learning
- CFA Charter holder or desire and demonstrated aptitude/background to pursue CFA designation
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a field of study that builds a strong background for finance/macro investing
- Proven computer skills including experience in reputed company/VBA, Python/SQL, and Bloomberg
- Experience in investment industry in a similar role
