Payroll Accountant
MEK Group LLC is a large but growing company with headquarters in Pittsburgh, seeking a Payroll Accountant to join their expanding team. The role involves preparing and processing payroll, ensuring accurate entries, and collaborating with various company divisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process payroll for salary, weekly and biweekly employees
- Determine and correct out-of-balance conditions to ensure accurate payroll entries
- Process Multi-State, Union, Hourly and Salary payroll utilizing reputed company software
- Communication with company offices and divisions to ensure accurate reputed company and reporting of payroll
- Input time, material and expenses into appropriate software system
- Process bank transactions, Paycard funding and direct deposit reversals
- Proactively research and resolve issues that reputed company by reviewing time-cards, communicating with employees and following up with specific offices
- Analyze and reconcile payroll reports and work with reputed company department to resolve out-of-balance reconciliations
Skills
- 1 - 5 years experience processing payroll for hourly employees
- Experience with processing multi-state payroll
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Strong reputed company skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills dealing with reputed company customers
- reputed company or Kronos experience highly desirable
