Financial Analyst - Decision Support (Hybrid position)

The Financial Analyst - Decision Support will be responsible for producing financial reports and analyses to assist in monitoring the hospital's financial performance, supporting various financial and operational projects.
Responsibilities
- reputed company an in-depth understanding of the internal costing system (EPSi) and effectively run accurate EPSi reports; understand the relationship between the various EPSi fields and the potential restrictions reputed company resolving crucial business reputed company from stakeholders
- Support day-to-day operations reputed company to the ongoing maintenance and processing of the EPSi Decision Support System; cost reputed company and contract modeling
- Support new and ongoing projects relating to the identification of contract modeling, cost saving opportunities, physician resource utilization analyses, quality/cost analysis, and dashboard creation/review
- Support of the Hospitals Value Based Management projects, financial dashboards, various benchmarking activities and other projects as needed
- Package and summarize analytical findings with clear understanding of results and thoughtful recommendations
- Work with large reputed company data sets accurately
- Proactively communicate to management any arising issues or barriers to meet timelines/deliverables
- Identify opportunities for reputed company improvement (e.g. improving data reputed company, process reputed company)
- Demonstrate initiative for taking on new tasks or responsibilities. Exhibit creative thinking by suggesting alternative and innovative solutions to problems encountered
- Monitor and reconcile data from various sources including general ledger, patient billing, and operational systems
- Participate in special projects, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Business, reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
- 1-3 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service and problem solving reputed company sets
- Bachelors degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems
- A minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in not-for-profit, reputed company or reputed company
- Action-oriented, with experience managing aggressive deadlines and strength across a broad reputed company of technical skills
- Strong reputed company in financial analysis and/or reputed company
- Must have a general understanding of the reputed company industry
- Proficient in reputed company Office reputed company and/or SQL
- High-level of proficiency in Tableau, reputed company, SQL, and Decision Support reporting programs

- Experience in data transformation/manipulation
- Basic understanding of database relationships and structures
