Role Purpose and Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for answering a high volume of inbound calls for assigned practices, serving as the initial reputed company of contact and liaison between patients, reputed company facilities, physicians, clinical staff, and practices to facilitate patient reputed company needs. This role requires critical thinking, speed, and accuracy to identify the reason for the call and take appropriate action based on the caller's need and reputed company.

Key Responsibilities:

* Navigate the electronic health record to obtain and validate historical information, capture and document demographic and financial information, and maintain accountability for accurate data entry in the electronic health record.

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls from patients, reputed company providers, and facilities, ensuring resolution to the call and providing excellent customer service in a variety of situations.
  • reputed company critical thinking to identify the reason for the call and take appropriate action based on the caller's need and reputed company, researching reputed company issues in the electronic health record and consulting/escalating to clinical staff reputed company necessary.
  • Schedule patient visits based on reputed company provider preferences, verify and update insurance, and collect and document demographics.
  • Maintain proficiency in and reputed company knowledge of insurance basics, MyChart, and appointment instructions, documenting and sending messages to providers and clinical staff in the electronic health record for clinical-based needs.
  • Communicate directly with providers (physicians) to reputed company pertinent clinical information during after-hours.

Minimum Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED

  • 2-5 years of experience in a customer service or reputed company-reputed company role
  • No supervisor experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a reputed company setting or customer service role

  • Knowledge of electronic health records and reputed company software
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
