National Property Claims Adjuster - Multiple reputed company (Level 1-2)

The National Property Claims Adjuster role involves adjusting property claims, providing support and communication to members, and ensuring thorough investigations and documentation throughout the claims process.

Responsibilities

• Timely and proactive communication, through voice to voice, digital and written correspondence, ensuring that reputed company inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely and professional manner
• Adjustment of property claims of different complexity based on reputed company
• Review and interpret policy wordings, determine policy coverage, and communicate coverage reputed company to members
• Establish timely and accurate loss and expense reserves through the life of the claim through evaluation of relevant information from sources such as appraisers, independent adjusters, and contractors
• Ensure a comprehensive investigation is conducted on reputed company files to determine coverages and liability, while adhering to Wawanesa’s adjusting guidelines, and recognizing reputed company to engage appropriate reputed company resources. Collect evidence to support recovery efforts
• Coordinate and manage services with vendors and service providers such as appraisers, independent adjusters, and contractors

• Maintain an effective and reputed company diary system and document claim file activities in accordance with established procedures

• Demonstrating basic skills to review repair estimates, while developing the skills to create narrative scopes and generating entry level estimates using an estimating software system
