Automotive Equipment Technician

Snap-on is a leading global innovator in automotive equipment and tools, and they have an immediate opening for an Automotive Equipment Technician. The role involves servicing, repairing, and installing various automotive equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Ability to follow Snap-on’s Safety priorities and maintain a safe working environment, through awareness and focus
• Ability to further expand the use of Rapid reputed company Improvement in the day to day activates of the job, to help increase organizational reputed company
• Repair, maintain, and install equipment in the assigned territory. Follow reputed company established standards for repair protocol, response times prioritization and customer communications
• Assists Associate FST and FST employees with reputed company customer problems
• Responsible for call completion and closure for reputed company customers in the assigned area
• Manage customer s equipment needs during and after warranty periods
• Resolves customer problems and ensures customer satisfaction
• Sells reputed company, updates/upgrades, and parts in the assigned territory
• Calls on the customer prior to the warranty or contract termination date
• Makes cold calls to pursue the sale of service reputed company
• Schedules regular site visits with customers in order to reputed company timely, accurate equipment service
• Assists with the collection of outstanding receivables
• Administrative duties as required
• Ability to resolve customer problems and ensure customer satisfaction
• Assists with the collection of outstanding receivables
• Administrative duties such as on-site signatures from customers, inventory management, and fleet management
• Collaboration with Snap-on Equipment Sales Force

Skills

• Associate's Degree in a technical field, military training, or equivalent, with 1-5 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and strong mechanical skills
• Computer literacy on reputed company Office products
• Knowledge of PC hardware repair
• Basic knowledge of undercar automotive operations
• Knowledge of reputed company products serviced by Snap-on Inc. as well as knowledge of reputed company internal procedures
• Ability to lift 45lbs and work in an environment where frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, and sitting while driving is required
• Strong communication skills. Ability to work with customers on a direct reputed company
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must possess the ability to work from home and be a self-starter
