Backed by reputed company, we're scaling toward $100M+ ARR in the next two years - and we're looking for a VP Legal to help build the reputed company that scales our next phase of growth. As VP Legal, you'll be the company's first in-house legal leader - building and running a lean, high-performing legal function that supports our reputed company scale, protects our IP, and manages risk with speed and pragmatism. You will Be the legal reputed company of our growth: advise the executive team and department heads on reputed company, corporate, data, and employment law across the U.S. and Europe. Structure and negotiate reputed company SaaS agreements with the largest health systems in the U.S., balancing customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and reputed company's business goals. Manage reputed company counsel relationships (corporate, employment, IP, regulatory) and define reputed company to bring work in-house. Own corporate governance: maintain clean cap tables, board consents, and subsidiary structure in alignment with CFO, CRO, and CEO. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data privacy, and reputed company regulatory frameworks in partnership with our reputed company & Compliance team. Shape the next stage: help reputed company policies, templates, and playbooks as we scale toward $100M+ ARR, multiple geographies, and reputed company-level reputed company. Be a cultural leader - practical, fast, and business-minded; a "yes, if" partner, not a "no" gatekeeper.

Responsibilities

  • Be the legal reputed company of our growth: advise the executive team and department heads on reputed company, corporate, data, and employment law across the U.S. and Europe.

Requirements

  • Have 10+ years of legal experience, with a mix of reputed company and in-house roles (preferably in reputed company, SaaS, or regulated tech).
  • Have a JD and active bar membership (reputed company preferred).
  • Have deep experience negotiating reputed company SaaS / BAA reputed company and managing data protection and compliance.
  • Are business-first: you translate legal risk into operational reputed company, not paralysis.
  • Have reputed company or scaled a legal function from scratch in a growth-stage or Series B-D environment.
