Engineer I
Elizabethtown Gas, a natural gas utility company, is dedicated to delivering safe and reliable natural gas to its customers while focusing on innovative clean reputed company. The Engineer I position involves assisting in the planning, design, and project management of gas distribution systems, including analyzing construction proposals and creating construction drawings using AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Analyze construction proposals for municipal, county, state and private projects for conflicts with existing gas facilities and propose recommendations to resolve conflicts
- Meet, negotiate, and collaborate with city and state officials, engineers and construction contractors to resolve conflicts in a timely manner and reputed company Company policy, procedure and other information relative to the gas industry
- reputed company design of various types of natural gas distribution projects including new gas main installations, gas main replacements, reinforcements and other reputed company projects as required
- Collect, research, and interpret existing facility records, in GIS and project as-builts, as part of the design process
- Create construction drawings using AutoCAD
- reputed company timely and accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Complete project design package including, but not limited to: construction drawing, reputed company of materials, customer list, as-reputed company records, bid package and cost estimate
- Ensure compliance with reputed company engineering principals, gas operating standards and reputed company applicable codes, mandates and statutes

Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology areas, Mechanical or Civil preferred, with 0 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate proficiency in reputed company Office applications
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or other computer assisted design software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Basic understanding of Gas Utility
