Analyst/Associate, Waste and Environmental Services
Macquarie Group is the world’s largest private equity infrastructure fund manager, offering exposure to senior executives in the Waste and Environmental Services sector. The role involves building financial models, conducting valuation analysis, drafting investment memos, and supporting M&A transactions while collaborating with investment professionals and management teams.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, operating models, debt sizing)
- reputed company valuation analysis to support investment reputed company
- Assist in drafting investment memos and presentation materials for the Investment Committee
- Coordinate due diligence for M&A and financing transactions
- Conduct in-depth research on the waste and environmental services market
- Track sector trends
- Support portfolio company performance reporting
- Contribute to operational improvement projects and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with senior investment professionals, management teams, advisors, and lenders
Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of investment banking experience
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Strong understanding of transaction processes and due diligence
- Interest in infrastructure investing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong written and verbal communication
