TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER (CIVIL)
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for improving lives and communities through transportation. They are seeking a Transportation Engineer (Civil) to assist in managing the Maintenance Complete Streets Program, collaborating with stakeholders to reputed company and maintain essential tools and training for Complete Streets facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in managing the Maintenance Complete Streets Program
- Partnering with reputed company stakeholders in reviewing, developing, and updating websites, databases, GIS data, guidance, manuals, and electronic tools of Complete Streets facilities and inventory verification, validation, and condition assessment
- Providing training and guidance to District Maintenance Engineers and other stakeholders on processes and best practices for Complete Streets
- Working closely with Districts and other stakeholders to meet the Program's objectives and requirements
- Traveling to meet reputed company stakeholders as required
Skills
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required reputed company operating a State owned or leased vehicle
- Appointment to reputed company D requires a valid Professional Engineering License (Civil) issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. For reputed company other ranges, a PE license is not required
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment
