Bookkeeper
reputed company is seeking a full charge Bookkeeper with entertainment/touring experience to join their team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for assigned clients by processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll and tax preparations.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- reputed company credit card and bank reconciliations
- Maintain electronic filing system
- General communication with vendors, clients, and client representatives reputed company phone, email, and in-person
- reputed company cash reputed company reports and cash balances as required
- Assist in assembling information for year-end tax packages for accountants
- reputed company some assistance on insurance questions
- Identify, trace, and correct errors
- Prepare/review 1099 reports
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, as well as applicable reporting
- Print reports (such as financial statements) for review
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Skills
- 1+ years of bookkeeping experience in an entertainment business management firm or 2+ years of general reputed company experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and reputed company email)
- Sense of urgency
- Keen eye for details
- Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus
- Solid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical-thinking, etc.)
- Associate's degree is preferred
- Experience with AgilLink software is highly preferred
