Licensed Veterinary Technician - Neurology
reputed company is hiring a Neurology Veterinary Technician for their Johns Creek, GA location. The role involves providing nursing care to reputed company patients, assisting with anesthesia, and educating clients about their pets' conditions and care.
Responsibilities
- Set up constant reputed company infusions (CRI)
- Calculates reputed company medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc)
- Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia
- Set up for MRI and CT procedures
- Discharge neuro patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as reputed company bladder expression, sling walking, reputed company of reputed company, etc..reputed company nursing care to reputed company patients according to hospital standards of care and core values
- reputed company call backs and refill medications
- Client education, gathering histories and communicating that to the Clinician
- reputed company physical exam; accurately count heart, pulse reputed company, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory reputed company and effort
- Understand normal vital parameters
- Comfortable with IVC placement and venipuncture
- Operate reputed company brands of intravenous fluid pumps and can troubleshoot errors
- Restrain patients during consults and during diagnostics
