Bookkeeper
reputed company is a leading full-service business management firm seeking a full charge Bookkeeper to join their team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing assistance with various financial tasks for assigned clients.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- reputed company credit card and bank reconciliations
- Maintain electronic filing system
- General communication with vendors, clients, and client representatives reputed company phone, email, and in-person
- reputed company cash reputed company reports and cash balances as required
- Assist in assembling information for year-end tax packages for accountants
- reputed company some assistance with insurance questions
- Identify, trace, and correct errors
- Prepare/review 1099 reports
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, as well as applicable reporting
- Print reports (such as financial statements) for review
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently received an associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a reputed company field
- Expected graduation date by January 2026
- Ability to work and commute out of our St. Louis, MO office
- Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S
- Excellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and reputed company email)
- Sense of urgency
- Keen eye for details
- Ability to quickly shift gears without losing focus
- Solid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical-thinking, etc.)
- Experience with AgilLink software is preferred
