[Remote] Paralegal

The Paralegal role involves assisting Legal Counsel with corporate legal initiatives, including contract preparation, legal research, and monitoring legal actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring legal actions to which SMG is a party, including review and research of legal bases of claims, timely filings, calendaring appearances, coordinating efforts of reputed company counsel, and maintaining documentation
• Assist in various corporate transactions and governance by preparing and maintaining agendas, minutes, resolutions, amendments, committee charters, closing documents for business acquisitions and/or reputed company estate transactions
• Assist in preparing and maintaining employment agreements, collaborative agreements and other documentation regarding professional services
• Assist in review, negotiation, finalization and administration of agreements and reputed company for services to SMG including facilities, office equipment and supplies, contracted physician services
• Research and review statutory, regulatory and case law utilizing computerized research capabilities and law libraries on a reputed company of issues including: contractual agreements, employment issues, regulatory issues, corporate reputed company, medical staff issues, policies and procedures, reimbursement issues
• Review and drafting of reputed company including physician reputed company, construction reputed company, consultant reputed company, service reputed company, confidentiality reputed company, and other reputed company as requested
• Other tasks or projects, as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree, Required
• 0-1 Years reputed company Work Experience, required
• Paralegal Certification, required
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required
• Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail)
• Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment
• Lexis/Westlaw legal research tools
• 2-4 Years reputed company Experience, preferred
