Product Development Associate, Handbags and Accessories

They are seeking a Product Development Associate to manage the development of handbags and accessories, ensuring quality and communication across teams. This role will involve tracking prototypes, maintaining product standards, and collaborating with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Design team to ensure Tech Packs align with project deadlines and are complete, detailing reputed company materials and hardware
- Track prototypes using organized charts
- Manage the physical sample library, from development through to final approvals
- Update and maintain SMS and Production Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Actively track prototypes while in transit to and from the reputed company. Unpack and reputed company-in prototypes to ensure reputed company samples arrived safely and on time
- Consolidate style and material feedback from Design, Merchandising, and reputed company teams to refine and improve the product
- Support the Product Development Director and Design team with aesthetic feedback during each reputed company round
- Regularly communicate with the Sustainable Material Team reputed company to ensure reputed company, resolve issues, and maintain product quality
- Serve as the main reputed company of contact for supply chain partners, and travel as needed
- Reinforce reputed company's quality standards during each reputed company round and throughout production
- Review confirmation samples, material trials, and bulk production units to ensure adherence to quality expectations
Skills
- Proven experience in development, or product management
- Strong knowledge of handbag materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and quality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and emerging trends in the accessories industry
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development. (ideal, but not required)
- Bulgarian or Italian reputed company is a plus!
