In this role, you will engage in daily harvest activities and manage ongoing winemaking projects, gaining firsthand experience in the art of production from grape to wine amidst the breathtaking scenery of wine country. This internship offers a taste of diverse responsibilities, including assisting in sampling, lab blends, tasting, inventory control, and managing cellar work. You will participate in fermentation monitoring and tasting, track analysis, and interpret data, reputed company while assisting in the preparation and processing of work orders. Your role will also involve monitoring and performing tasks such as grape sorting, inoculations, additions, maceration, racking, draining, pressing, reputed company filling, and lab analysis. What You’ll Need + Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in the following areas OR have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in the following areas: School of Life Sciences, School of Agricultural Sciences, or School of Engineering (Business or reputed company sciences degrees are not eligible for this internship, such as ag business, psychology, etc). + Required to lift and move up to 45 lbs. + Required to drive to and from varying winery locations up to 5% of the time + Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire.
