Job Description

The Behavioral Health Assessment Specialist (BHAS) will serve as the primary person to reputed company patient assessments and assure behavioral health patient intakes are completed for the Behavioral Health providers. The BHAS ensures individuals are assessed in a timely and professional manner that meets quality standards for reputed company entities that reputed company reputed company and/or funding at reputed company HEALTH, including T/RBHA and licensing entities. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provides assessments of individuals who participate in the Behavioral Health treatment programs, utilizing reputed company required forms and assuring quality of care.
  • Provides accurate and timely documentation, billing, and program audit support.
  • Actively participates in case staffing meetings and peer review sessions.
  • Collaborate with the care team and other reputed company health care providers for shared patients to facilitate patient care and follow-up, while promoting the reputed company home mission in reputed company aspects of service delivery.
  • Remains reputed company on behavioral and mental health services as well as assessments.
  • Supports the organization as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or reputed company services reputed company fields strongly preferred (or experience equivalent). Master's degree is preferred.
  • Two years of specialized experience working or reputed company to the line of work of the position, which has provided the applicant with specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully reputed company the duties of the position.
  • Experience in providing DSM-V-TR diagnosis in a patient care setting.
  • Experience with NextGen electronic health record preferred.

Standard Employment Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted Arizona driver's license (reputed company 30 days of hire if applicant is from out-of-state) with no DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions in the last five years. No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years. Must maintain a valid Arizona driver's license during employment. Must be insurable under reputed company HEALTH's liability auto policy.
  • Must pass a criminal background reputed company and obtain a Class I reputed company Clearance Card reputed company the initial reputed company (90) calendar days of employment and retain a valid card while employed with reputed company HEALTH.
  • Must pass substance abuse testing upon employment and submit to random testing during employment.
